Night Trooper Kintsugucci places three precisely chosen references in one helmet. The Night Troopers of Ahsoka are Imperial remnant soldiers whose armor shows every crack, patch, and repair — visually, they already embody the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, which treats the history of breakage as the object's most beautiful feature rather than something to hide. "Kintsugucci" applies Gucci's material vocabulary as the gold in those cracks: the luxury treatment not as polish applied over damage, but as the damage itself made precious.

This piece’s unique name is a mash-up of Gucci and the Japanese Potter technique Kintsugi, which repairs cracks in pottery using gold and clay paste.
