Upcycled Luxury Sculptures

By Gabriel Dishaw

Gabriel Dishaw is a sculptor from Indianapolis, Indiana, who creates unique art from materials that most people would discard. He works in two main styles: the Luxury Series, which combines real Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and luxury hardware with pop culture icons like Star Wars, Marvel, and Pokémon, and the E-Waste Series, which uses old typewriters, computers, and found objects. Each sculpture begins without a set plan, allowing the materials to guide the process. Every piece is one of a kind, and once it is sold, it is never made again.  You can browse the series below or visit the shop to see what’s available.

Sculptures built from materials with a past

Gabriel’s work starts with discarded/upcycled materials and transforms them into new objects with new purposes. Some works use vintage luxury materials, leather, and hardware. Others use typewriters, computers, circuit boards, and found objects.
