MF DOOM inspired Star Wars Stormtrooper Mashup
MF StormTrooper
My MF Stormtrooper sculpture fuses two cultural icons — MF DOOM and the Star Wars Stormtrooper — into a single expression of identity and rebellion. Constructed from upcycled materials and found objects, this piece explores the intersection of music, myth, and individuality. Both the masked rapper and the faceless trooper represent duality — power and anonymity, creativity and conformity — and through this fusion, I aimed to reframe their stories within the language of upcycled art and cultural transformation.
Dimensions: 17.0 inches tall, 13 inches wide and 13 inches deep.

Two icons of the masked — MF DOOM, hip-hop's greatest supervillain, who built an entire mythology around refusing to show his face; and the Stormtrooper, the faceless foot soldier of the Empire, whose helmet represents the erasure of individual identity in the service of power. MF Stormtrooper fuses them into a single sculpture, constructed from upcycled materials and found objects, exploring the duality both figures share: power and anonymity, creativity and conformity.
DOOM wore his mask as armour, as persona, as artistic statement. The Stormtrooper wears theirs as uniform, as submission. The same object — a face that isn't a face — means something entirely different depending on who's inside it. That tension is what this piece is made of.
