Upcycled Claptrap
Explore the inspiration and process behind this piece.
Claptrap is gaming's most lovable disaster — all chaotic energy, misplaced confidence, and surprisingly deep heart. This sculpture, built entirely from reclaimed e-waste and found technology, captures all of that in three dimensions. Every component of this piece was headed for a landfill before it became Claptrap.
This is pure e-waste upcycling at its most expressive — no luxury materials, no designer hardware, just discarded electronics reimagined into one of gaming's most iconic characters. The result is a piece that feels as if it were assembled in Pandora itself. With Borderlands 4 releasing in 2025, there's never been a better time to own a piece of the franchise's history — and this sculpture predates the latest chapter by nearly a decade.
