Eater of Protocols: A C3PO and Galactus Mashup

Eater of Protocols
$5,500.00

Explore the inspiration and process behind this piece.

C-3PO is fluent in over six million forms of communication and programmed for etiquette and diplomacy. Galactus devours entire worlds without ceremony. Put them together and you get the Eater of Protocols — a collision of the galaxy's most anxious protocol droid with its most cosmic and indifferent force of destruction, built from vintage Louis Vuitton luggage, purses, and upcycled luxury materials.

The concept is absurd in the best possible way, and the execution is serious. The Galactus helmet form dominates the C-3PO facial structure beneath it, creating a piece that works as both a striking visual mashup and a meditation on what happens when two completely incompatible mythologies occupy the same space. For collectors who live at the intersection of Star Wars and Marvel, this is a one-of-a-kind piece that doesn't exist anywhere else.
